July 10 – 4.38.4 Estimated reading: 2 minutes This release introduces several enhancements to improve your workflow, including automatic saving for consolidated invoice mapping and more flexible management of line items in both client and subcontractor contracts. Client contracts Delete any client contract line-item You can now delete any line-item from a client contract, not just variations, provided it's not linked to any progress reports or payment applications. Additionally, deleting a line-item now correctly requires edit access to the project, preventing view-only users from making such changes. Consolidated Invoices Draft auto-save for consolidated invoice mapping When mapping expenses for consolidated invoices, your progress will now automatically save. If you navigate away or refresh the page, your work will be restored, allowing you to continue seamlessly from where you left off. Subcontractor orders Amend subcontracts with additional budget line-items You can now add unassigned budget line-items to an existing subcontractor contract, similar to how you can with client contracts. This provides a simpler way to expand the scope of a subcontract without going through the extra work approval process. Delete any subcontractor contract line-item It's now possible to delete any line-item from a subcontractor contract, whether it's a regular item or a variation. This applies as long as the line-item isn't tied to a confirmed or in-review progress report or payment application.
