How to switch a user between full and limited access

Planyard separates users into full and limited access levels to reflect how much control they have over projects. This distinction affects licensing costs. The access level is controlled by a single permission, making it easy to review and adjust when needed.

Steps

1. Log in to your account.
2. Click Company in the top menu.
3. Select User management.
4. Find the user you want to update.
5. Hover over the user row and click the three dots on the right.
6. Click Edit.
7. Review the permission Create, edit, and archive projects at the top of the list.
8. Set the permission as needed:
   • No → the user is a limited user.
   • Own or Everyone’s → the user is a full user.
9. Click Save.
