How to merge contacts in Planyard

Duplicate companies can appear in your contacts list for various reasons, such as imports from your accounting tool or manual entry. Use the merge feature to consolidate them into a single record.

1. Go to Contacts in the top navigation bar.
2. Use the checkboxes on the left to select the two duplicate companies you want to merge.
3. Click Merge Selected in the toolbar that appears at the top.
4. In the pop-up, select the company you want to keep as the main record.
5. Click Merge Companies.

The archived company’s data — including contracts, client contracts, and progress claims — is transferred to the main company record.

Warning: This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you have selected the correct main company before confirming.
