How to register a standalone income

You can register income on a project either through a client contract or as a standalone income. A standalone income is not connected to any client contract — it’s a separate entry used to record revenue that doesn’t belong to an existing agreement.

Steps

1. Open your project and go to the Income tab in the project menu.
2. Click New income in the top-right corner.
3. In the Client company dropdown, select the client.
4. Planyard will automatically select “sales invoice” as the document type.
5. Enter a Document name (for example, “Phase 1”).
6. Scroll down and click Select in bulk to tie the income to budget items.
7. In the budget overview, check the boxes for the relevant items and click Update selection.
8. Add the amounts for each selected line item.
9. (Optional) Attach supporting documents by either browsing files or dragging and dropping them into the file manager on the right-hand side.
10. Review the details and click Submit.

Once submitted, the income is registered on the project as a standalone entry, and the project’s positive cash flow is automatically updated.
